Frequently asked
employer questions
Common questions from hiring managers, HR professionals, and staffing partners about how SuomiJobs works.
Submit a requirement using the form on the Submit Hiring Request page. Describe the role, tech stack, location, contract type, and duration. We respond within one business day to confirm receipt and ask any clarifying questions. No account or portal login required.
For contract roles with a clear requirement, we typically present an initial shortlist within 3–7 business days. For permanent roles, typically 5–10 business days. Timeline depends on requirement specificity, stack rarity, and availability of matched engineers. Providing a clear rate/salary range significantly speeds up matching.
We support Corp-to-Corp (C2C), W2 contract, Contract-to-Hire (C2H), and Direct Hire (permanent) placements. C2C is the most common structure in the US technology market — the engineer operates through their own entity. W2 is available for employers with compliance requirements. We will match the structure to what your organisation requires.
Yes. Before presenting any engineer to an employer, we review their CV and professional history, confirm they have the stated skills, verify they are actively available for the contract type and duration specified, and confirm they have been briefed on the role and consented to the presentation. You do not receive speculative or unqualified profiles.
Yes. We work with staffing agencies, MSPs, and prime contractors as a confidential sub-vendor. Your client names and relationships are never disclosed without your consent. We support C2C and W2 sub-vendor arrangements. Use the Contact page or the Vendor Inquiry form to discuss partnership terms.
No. SuomiJobs does not require you to log in to a portal or create an account. You submit requirements through a form. We send matched profiles directly to you via email. This keeps the process simple and efficient — you focus on hiring, not navigating a platform.
Yes. Your hiring requirements are not broadcast publicly. They are shared only within the sourcing and matching process — specifically with engineers whose profiles align and who have expressed interest. Staffing partner requirements are handled with an additional layer of confidentiality protecting your client relationships.
If the initial shortlist does not meet your needs, tell us what specifically is not matching — too junior, wrong stack depth, location mismatch — and we will refine the search and present additional profiles. We will not repeatedly send the same profiles. If a requirement proves very niche and our network does not have a strong match, we will tell you directly.
