Android Developer – Advanced Communication Solutions
Job Description
We are looking for experienced Android Developers to support a critical, high-impact project focused on advanced communication systems. You’ll be part of an agile team working in a hybrid setup, with access to innovative tools and secure infrastructure. This project is ideal for developers who are passionate about delivering robust and scalable solutions in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in agile ceremonies: increment planning, kick-offs, sprint reviews, and stand-ups.
- Actively contribute to sprint goals and commit to realistic deliverables.
- Provide time estimates and proactively resolve blockers.
- Design, document, and develop Android software components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure reliability and performance.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the Definition of Done (DoD) and project standards.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Android application development and working with the Android OS
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java
- Solid understanding of reactive programming (e.g., RxJava)
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle
- Experience working in agile environments, including frameworks like SAFe
- Practical experience with Jira and Confluence
Working Model
- Location: Jyväskylä (Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite)
- Start Date: 4 August 2025
- Duration: 6–12 months
- Allocation: 100%
- Minimum Experience: 5 years
- Language Requirement: English
