Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop efficient, scalable, and robust solutions for our IoT platform.
  • Design and implement intuitive and appealing front-end interfaces for applications serving streaming data platforms, pipelines, databases, and APIs.
  • Align with other developers across multiple teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Take ownership of cross-functional topics and drive them to completion.
  • Monitor the operational aspects of running an IoT platform, including data pipeline status and data quality.
  • Actively refine the product backlog, aligning objectives with the team’s vision.
  • Lead the development and implementation of key software features using agile methodologies.
  • Ensure robust continuous integration and maintain code quality.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and share knowledge with team members.

  • Continuously improve workflows and coding practices.
  • Regularly contribute to pull requests and backlog refinements.
  • Efficiently utilize available resources for development objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in:
    • Python development and scripting (mandatory).
    • JavaScript and React (mandatory).
    • AWS services (mandatory).
    • Timeseries databases; experience with Influx is a plus.
    • Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm (mandatory).
    • Automated testing and test-driven development (mandatory).
    • Event-driven systems, especially Kafka (preferred).
    • Java (Spring) (preferred).

Job Details

  • Work Location:
    • Preferred: Suomi, Helsinki, or Netherlands.
    • Nearshore Europe is possible, with occasional travel to Finland or Netherlands required.
  • Remote Work: Partially remote.
  • Work Allocation: Full-time (100%)
