Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Hardware Designer for an exciting Vehicle PC development project. This role requires deep expertise in PC hardware and electrical design, with a focus on developing high-performance, passively cooled systems for demanding automotive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the hardware product functionality.
  • Design and develop PC-based hardware for automotive use cases.
  • Execute electrical design of high-reliability embedded systems.
  • Implement effective thermal management strategies for passive cooling solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the design and development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong background in PC Hardware Design
  • Expertise in electrical circuit design
  • Experience in thermal management for passively cooled computers
  • Proven ability to lead hardware development projects

Job Details:

  • Location: Tampere or Helsinki, Finland
  • Onsite Required: Yes
  • Duration: 6–12 months
  • Start Date: 26 May 2025
  • Workload Allocation: 80% (Part-time possible)
  • Minimum Experience Required: 7 years
