Job Description

Our customer looking for a Product Developer to enhance their edge and cloud infrastructure by developing services and standardizing APIs. The role requires close collaboration with team members in the Netherlands, Finland, and nearby time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and development of the edge platform.
  • Develop scalable and robust solutions for extensive deployment.
  • Work within self-steering teams and contribute proactively.
  • Collaborate across multiple development teams for aligned implementation efforts.
  • Uphold high-quality standards with a strong focus on cybersecurity.

Mission Goals:

  • Deliver a scalable, application-rich edge infrastructure.
  • Standardize applications and the organization around strong APIs.
  • Foster a collaborative code contribution model akin to open-source communities.
  • Contribute beyond defined roles to support the customer’s technology vision.

Success Measures:

  • Continuous improvement of coding practices and workflows.
  • Active contribution to pull requests and backlog refinement.
  • Efficient use of edge/cloud resources.

Skills:

  • Golang, Python, Java, or other programming languages (mandatory)
  • Deploying scalable container-based technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and related tools (mandatory)
  • Deploying cloud technologies (AWS/Azure): web services, REST APIs, messaging protocols (MQTT, AMQP, MQ), security (OAuth, OpenID, Keycloak) (mandatory)
  • Linux-based operating systems (mandatory)
  • Test-driven development and test automation tools/frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito) at unit and integration levels (mandatory)
  • Industrial communication protocols like OPC-UA, Modbus, and/or NMEA (important)
  • Relational and time series databases (important)
