Job Description
At Veikkaus, project management services are centralized within the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO oversees the allocation of project managers across various projects. As a project manager, you will follow Veikkaus’s development processes and project models while utilizing its project management tools under the guidance of the PMO.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and monitoring project progress to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborating with the team and project owners to meet business and quality goals.
- Communicating with steering committees and stakeholder groups.
- Managing cost efficiency, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Overseeing project schedules, risk management, and change management.
- Coordinating dependencies within the team and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with Veikkaus’s development processes, reporting standards, and documentation guidelines.
- Consulting on project planning and preparation as needed.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in expert roles.
- Participation in at least 5 projects or work packages within a production environment (academic or student projects not considered).
Skillset
- Expertise in Project Management practices and tools.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in Finnish and English (mandatory).
Job Details
- Location: Veikkaus offices in Helsinki, Finland (several on-site workdays per week).
- Work Allocation: Full-time (100%).
- Remote Work: Partially remote.
