Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Test Engineer to join our client’s dynamic Digital Development team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Mobile Penetration Testing on both Android and iOS platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of mobile and web applications by identifying vulnerabilities and driving best security practices.

As a Senior Cyber Security Tester, you will work closely with development teams, architects, and analysts to uncover security flaws in digital solutions. Your role is crucial in protecting systems from emerging threats and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth security assessments and penetration tests on mobile and web applications
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for identifying security flaws
  • Conduct static and dynamic analysis of application code and behavior
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and share secure coding practices
  • Develop and maintain security testing scripts and frameworks
  • Participate in threat modeling and security design reviews
  • Keep up with current threats, exploits, and mitigation strategies
  • Prepare technical reports with PoCs, risk assessments, and remediation steps
  • Mentor junior team members in security testing methodologies and tools

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in mobile and web application penetration testing
  • Familiarity with mobile architecture and operating systems (Android & iOS)
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and application security
  • Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language
  • Experienced with tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or similar
  • Knowledge of cryptography and secure coding practices
  • Strong skills in source code review and vulnerability identification
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, or GIAC are a plus
