Job Description

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead and execute security projects in IT/OT environments. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and responding to security incidents. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to enhance the security posture of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Architecture & Projects: Lead and execute IT/OT security initiatives, including architecture reviews, engineering consulting, and security assessments.
  • Infrastructure Security: Deploy and manage security solutions such as IDS honeypots, OT/ICS systems, firewalls, routers, and data diodes.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure security compliance with frameworks like NIST SP800-R82 and ISA99/IEC62443 through audits and assessments.
  • Incident Response: Conduct forensic analysis, root cause investigations, and remediation for security incidents.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop automation solutions for security operations, leveraging scripting languages and infrastructure as code.
  • Documentation & Policy Development: Maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions and operational drills for teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Virtualization & Operating Systems: Strong expertise in VMware ESX/vSphere, Linux, Windows, ESXi, and Unix-based services.
  • Networking & Security: Hands-on experience with Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and open-source security platforms.
  • Automation & DevOps: Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Security Incident Response: Experience in handling global security incidents and implementing effective countermeasures.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong English communication skills (B2+), capable of leading security discussions and training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Previous roles in IT/Security within industrial automation; experience in the utilities sector is a plus.
  • Agile & Fast-Paced Environments: Ability to thrive in dynamic work environments with shifting priorities.
  • Teamwork & Leadership: Capable of working independently and collaboratively to drive security initiatives.
