Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior IT/OT Security Engineer to join our client’s team. This role is critical in protecting industrial and enterprise systems, and you’ll be working remotely with a global team. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in IT/OT security, particularly in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT/OT Security Projects: Own and manage security initiatives, from architecture reviews to consulting.
- Infrastructure Design: Set up and maintain security solutions, including IDS, OT/ICS systems, firewalls, and data diodes.
- Security Reviews: Conduct architecture reviews using guidelines such as NIST SP800 and ISA99/IEC62443 standards.
- Incident Response: Handle global security incidents, providing root cause analysis and effective solutions.
- Security Policies: Develop and maintain security documentation and policies.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and share insights with team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- ICS/OT Security: Expertise in IT/OT security frameworks and practices.
- Industry Standards: Experience with NIST 800-sarjan standards, ISA-95, and IEC 62443 for industrial communication networks.
- Systems & Virtualization: Strong background in VMware, VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, Linux, Windows, and UNIX environments.
- Networking: Proficiency in networking and working with industry-leading products: Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet.
- Security Incident Response: Hands-on experience responding to and mitigating security incidents globally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Senior IT or security roles in industrial automation.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in sectors such as utilities or critical infrastructure is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and adaptability to dynamic environments.
- Communication: Proficiency in English (B2 minimum), with the ability to communicate clearly across remote teams.
Work Environment & Collaboration
- Work Mode: 100% Remote
- Collaboration: Work with an international team across various time zones.
- Core Hours: Flexible, but availability for daily stand-up meetings at 9:30 AM US Eastern time.
