Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced SOC Delivery Manager to manage the SOC operations for one of our telecom clients. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the customer’s SOC operations by establishing goals, managing resources, and improving processes. You will also oversee incident management, reporting, and maintaining SLA compliance while driving improvements in SOC efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee customer SOC operations.
- Establish SOC goals, set priorities, and generate weekly/monthly reports, metrics, and KPIs.
- Manage SOC resources and shift rosters.
- Implement improvement plans to reduce response time and eliminate false positives.
- Assess SOC performance periodically and report SOC maturity scores.
- Ensure SLA compliance, process adherence, and continuous improvement to meet operational objectives.
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for SOC incidents.
- Manage collection, documentation, and research of security incidents received by the SOC.
Must-Have Experience:
- Experience in SOC Management: 5-12 years of relevant experience managing SOC operations.
- Incident Management: Ability to work directly with customers to manage security incidents.
- Leadership and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to manage teams effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to present and communicate SOC reports and updates.
- Security Standards and Best Practices Knowledge: Deep understanding of SOC and infrastructure security procedures and best practices.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: Hybrid setup with 2 days per week in the customer office. Business hours on weekdays, with willingness to support outside these hours if needed.
- Project Scope: Managing SOC operations, improving processes, and ensuring SLA compliance throughout the project.
