Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer to join our team for a long-term project. This role requires expertise in manual testing, defect analysis, and creating test scenarios to ensure software quality. Remote work is available, and the ideal candidate will be based nearshore from Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual testing of software applications.
  • Analyze test results and ensure accuracy.
  • Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and automated testing scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and localize defects.
  • Simulate and reproduce scenarios leading to errors.
  • Monitor and track bug fixes.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, checklists, and test cases.
  • Analyze incidents and assist developers in troubleshooting issues.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of software testing and development methodologies
  • Understanding of the software development and testing process
  • Test design capabilities
  • Experience with smoke testing, functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Advanced knowledge of the Windows operating system
  • Experience testing desktop applications
  • Fluent technical, written, and oral communication in English and Russian

Important Skills:

  • Network configuration knowledge (advantage)
  • Python knowledge and test automation skills (advantage)
  • Engineering background (advantage)
