Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SW Testing Engineer to join our team. The role requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, with a strong understanding of software testing and development methodologies. The position involves working on testing desktop applications and collaborating with development teams to analyze and improve software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of software.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to developers.
  • Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and automated testing scenarios.
  • Identify, localize, and document defects.
  • Simulate and reproduce situations leading to errors.
  • Monitor and validate bug fixes.
  • Prepare and update test documentation, including test plans, checklists, and reports.
  • Analyze incidents before escalation to the development team.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  1. Software Testing and Development Methodologies:
    • Knowledge of various testing and development methodologies.
    • Clear understanding of the software development and testing processes.
  2. Test Design:
    • Proficiency in designing effective test cases.
  3. Testing Expertise:
    • Experience in smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
  4. Windows OS Knowledge:
    • Advanced knowledge of the Windows operating system.
  5. Desktop Application Testing:
    • Expertise in testing desktop applications.

Important Skills

  1. Network Configuration:
    • Basic knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting networks.
  2. Python:
    • Familiarity with Python programming language.
  3. Test Automation:
    • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering background.
  • Fluent technical, written, and oral communication in English and Russian.
